A visit to San Diego’s Aloha Sunday Supply Company brings their ethos of ‘live passionately daily’ to light. A welcoming and laid-back attitude meshed with their mindfulness of the aesthetic and vibe of their space is infectious. You end up just wanting to hang out all day and becoming good friends.
In the late spring of 2011, Aloha Sunday opened their doors in the North Park neighborhood of SD as a retail concept that focused on a roster of designers and brands that were rooted in ethical production, international tastes, clean designs and a touch of coastal vibes.
Co-founders Kahana Kalama and Billy Wickens consistently have their hands full with various projects in and out of the store. From photoshoots, private label development, the rigors of retail, family-lives, community-building and finding the time to drink coffee and surf…these guys are charging hard.
This Fall 2014, we chose their North Park Flagship location to do a permanent custom build-out to be a showcase for classic and seasonal new products. Aloha Sunday was one of the first accounts to carry our brand and we couldn’t be more proud of this project.
Next time you’re in the mood for real Mexcian food, a surf and a drive down the 5…make your way to see our friends at Aloha Sunday and show them some love.
